The Delaware Valley's Best Amateur Golf Tour

The Golf Tour of Greater Philadelphia (GTGP) is a locally-operated golf league for men and women amateur golfers of all abilities.  GTGP runs a full season of events from April to September at various golf courses in Southeastern Pennsylvania, including high-quality venues in Philadelphia, Montgomery, Chester, Bucks, and Delaware counties as well as courses in the Lehigh Valley, Southern New Jersey, Delaware, and Maryland.

GTGP is distinguished by the quality and duration of our tour schedule and our unique season-long championship competition, which is modeled after the PGA Tour.  Our classification as a non-profit organization keeps costs down, and our club organization ensures that all members have input in club operation.  The result is competitive golf in a collegial atmosphere at a great price!

Use our web site to read more about the membership benefits, or find answers to frequently asked questions (FAQ).   If you don't find the answer to your questions, please feel free to contact us.

If you're ready to join the tour, you can register online now. We hope to see you on the golf course soon!

A Message from the GTGP Board of Directors

We would like to welcome our returning members and new prospective members to our upcoming sixth season of the Golf Tour of Greater Philadelphia. We are pleased to announce our exciting 22 event season that begins on April 3 and culminates with our Tour Championship in September. Of course you may play in as many or as few events as you choose but to ensure a fun competitive group of tournaments we encourage you to play in as many as you can.

We are happy to announce that for the 2010 season, the annual membership fee of $100 will now include an official USGA handicap through the Golf Association of Philadelphia (GAP). This will provide you, our members, with a $25 savings over previous seasons when the handicap fee was charged separately. As our long-time members know, our annual membership fee of $100 has remained unchanged since our inaugural 2005 season.

The top eight GTGP season long money winners and the remaining members with the lowest net and gross stroke averages will again earn spots on the GTGP Mason-Dixon Cup team and compete against our rivals, the Wormburners Golf Club from Washington DC. As in past years TGP will reward these Mason-Dixon Cup members by offsetting costs of this two-day event. Members can also earn valuable prizes through the additional season long awards presented at the conclusion of the season.

Please check out our 2010 schedule and additional information about our tour on the FAQ and Membership Benefits pages. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any additional questions.

We are looking forward to seeing you in April!
